This is not the Chua's. This is student created. Half of this is made up--the thoughts are made up but the events really happened. These are supposed to be what I believe in the point of view of the children in Amy Chua's family.
For further information read Amy Chua's book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother.

In a lot of the pages I created there is a playlist on the right-hand corner. I put in a few songs that were listed in the book as well as some famous pieces that I think Chua's daughters would have known and played. I really enjoyed the book so I put in as much content as I could without causing the pages to look too cluttered. I tried to add other media as well, like the music player listed above. I put in videos, images and real quotes from the book. The quotes that came directly from the book are in quotations. The ones that are not in quotations are not from the book. They are the quotes I made up and thought would fit the girls' thoughts. The header images were supposed to match the title of the page. The examples and pictures I used are cited in each of the "Further Analysis" pages. The links under "Our Travels" and "Trip to China" are not broken links. They aren't because if you scroll down more, you'll find the further analysis paragraphs. I thought that there was not information for the paragraph above so I put another section under the first page analysis.
I chose this way to show the point of view of Chua's children because it seemed like it would be easier to show the different stories the child could send to their mom compared to an essay where it is structured where I could only show one point of view. Through the website, I can show two different points of view. Through the website, I am able to pull in different types of media to show my point, not just my book. I was able to pull in pictures, video, and music into the project.
